Overview

Our client is a Leading Fintech; They are seeking a Pricing Analyst who will focus on pricing analytics and editing the pricing code to be used for lending products (coding with Python and SQL) as well as ad hoc lending related analytics. This role is within the Risk Analytics and Data Science organization.

Location: NYC 3 days a week

Responsibilities

• CODE IN PYTHON, Enhance and maintain proprietary algorithms using Python to support sales insights and strategy optimization.
• Perform ad-hoc analytics and create visualizations.
• Translate financial models and business logic into well-structured, maintainable code that aligns with sales objectives.
• Manage code deployment processes with version control, ensuring smooth and reliable releases that support sales initiatives.
• Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support during product launches and adjustments in collaboration with Sales.
• Work closely with Sales teams to gather feedback, refine technical solutions, and improve product-market fit.
• Analyze market trends and sales data to identify opportunities for revenue growth and improved customer engagement.
• Utilize historical data analysis to drive strategic decision-making and optimize pricing and revenue models.
• Contribute to high-quality data management practices, ensuring transparency in analytical processes that benefit both technical and sales teams.

Requirements

• Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics).
• Proficiency in writing production-quality Python code with a focus on supporting business decisions and customer interactions.
• Strong ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams, effectively communicating complex ideas to Sales staff and customers.
• Experience in data analysis using SQL, Python, and Excel, with applications to sales optimization and customer engagement.
• Ad hoc analytics in financial services for lending, risk or credit.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to craft compelling presentations and technical sales materials.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment that requires collaboration across multiple teams.
• Experience with sprint scheduling and Offer Logix.
