Job summary

Columbia Threadneedle Investments in Boston, MA is seeking a Senior Portfolio Management Assistant to provide operational, analytical, and administrative support to a team of equity portfolio managers.

In this role you will monitor cash and holdings, enter equity trades, generate regular portfolio reports, ensure adherence to client guidelines, and act as a primary contact between portfolio teams and Compliance, Operations, and Technology. In-office/hybrid collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work with multiple teams.
• Curiosity about financial markets and the asset management business.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and a quick learner of investment systems.

Responsibilities

• Support portfolio construction and implementation for equity teams.
• Accurately entering equity trade orders into investment systems.
• Provide daily, monthly, and quarterly portfolio reporting.
• Ensure portfolios comply with client guidelines and regulations.
• Serve as the primary liaison between portfolio management and Compliance/Operations/Technology.
• Assist with travel, expense reporting, and meeting scheduling as needed.
