Responsibilities

  • Monitoring portfolio operations and assist senior portfolio managers.
  • Accurately entering equity trade orders into investment systems.
  • Providing daily, monthly, and quarterly portfolio reporting.
  • Ensuring that portfolios align with client guidelines and applicable regulations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between portfolio management teams and internal business partners (Compliance, Operations, Technology).
  • Troubleshoot issues, lead portfolio management teams through operational and technological changes and participate in platform implementation activity.
  • Provide basic administrative support for portfolio management activities, including travel arrangements, expense reporting and scheduling meetings.
  • Opportunity to gain exposure to equity investing or other aspects of the asset management business, as your interests dictate.

Job Description

As a Senior Portfolio Management Assistant, you will provide operational, analytical, and general administrative support to a team of equity portfolio managers. We’re looking for a diligent problem solver to join our team of Portfolio Management Assistants in Boston, MA. The person who will be successful in this role will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, is a continuous learner, and is able to prioritize tasks for themselves and others.

How you'll spend your time

In-Office Collaboration

We are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Working together, in-person, is foundational to how we achieve results. Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $76,700 - $90,000 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role. We also have a competitive and comprehensive benefits program that supports all aspects of your health and well-being, including but not limited to vacation time, sick time, 401(k), and health, dental and life insurances.
