COUNTRY Financial is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to join our Institutional Investments team. You will help manage over $20 billion across insurance company and pension portfolios, focusing on private placement debt or commercial mortgage investments.

The role involves sourcing, underwriting, structuring, negotiating, and monitoring investments, with cross-functional collaboration to support income, liquidity, and asset-liability management objectives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant investment experience
• CFA designation or progress toward completion
• experience with private placements or commercial mortgage investments
• strong collaboration across risk, actuarial, accounting, and legal teams

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze investment ideas to develop portfolio management strategies
• Source, underwrite, structure, and monitor private placement or CTL investments
• Manage credit and portfolio risk and support ALM objectives
• Collaborate with teams across investments, risk, actuarial, and legal to implement investment policies
