COUNTRY Financial is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to join our Institutional Investments team and oversee multiple portfolios with over $20 billion in assets. The role involves sourcing, underwriting, structuring, negotiating and monitoring private placements and commercial mortgage investments, with collaboration across investments, actuarial, risk, accounting and legal functions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training.
• CFA designation or progress toward completion.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze investment ideas, develop portfolio management strategies and monitor portfolio results.
• Provide investment recommendations and monitoring aligned with investment policies and risk controls.
• Collaborate with colleagues across investments, actuarial, risk, accounting and legal to support income, liquidity and asset-liability objectives.
• Specialize in Fixed Income or Mortgage/Real Estate investments and manage related underwriting and monitoring tasks.
