Job summary

Blackstone seeks a Senior Associate for the Portfolio Management team within BXCI, focused on infrastructure and asset-based credit. The role involves partnering with asset class teams to implement allocation decisions, monitoring valuations, and supporting client solutions, liquidity management, and reporting.

Ideal candidates have a finance-related Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of rigorous analytical experience, with strong modeling, communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in investment banking, asset management, private markets, or rigorous analytical environments.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and quantitative skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic, integrity, and positive attitude.
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, proactive, and initiative-taking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with asset class teams to implement strategic and tactical asset allocation decisions.
• Evaluate and underwrite deployment opportunities to meet portfolio objectives.
• Monitor asset class valuations, market structure, and macro conditions for positioning.
• Assist with fund liquidity, balance sheet positioning, and tracking capital inflows/deployments.
• Develop and maintain portfolio models, performance and risk analytics, reporting tools.
• Support onboarding of new partnerships and client service with BXCI Institutional Client Solutions.
• Lead portfolio management process enhancements across automation and cross-functional workflows.
• Develop strategic asset allocation approaches and customized proposals for new clients.
