Ally Financial, based in New York, seeks a senior project finance professional to manage a portfolio of energy and infrastructure loans. The role focuses on lead/agency and co-lead arrangements, amendments, waivers and loan modifications, acting as the primary interface between clients and banks after closing.

You will work within Ally Energy & Infrastructure, collaborating with risk, credit, and operations to balance borrower needs with policy and risk tolerances, while mentoring teammates

Competenze

• 9+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High school Diploma or GED equivalent
• Master’s degree preferred
• Proven success in relationship management
• Completion of bank/finance company credit training program preferred

Mansioni

• Know the client and the client’s business, and maintain a professional and responsive relationship with appropriate contacts of the client
• Assist with loan set up and closing, and act as administrative agent for certain lead deals with syndicate bank groups
• Execute post-close requirements of the credit agreement
• Minimize risk
• Execute corporate governance responsibilities
• Identify New Business Opportunities Underwritings - Prepare underwriting memorandum for loan modifications applicable to portfolio
• Mentor and train less experienced team members
• Assist in creating/maintaining a strong credit culture
