Job summary

Kestra Investment Management is seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager to join the team as a key external representative and thought leader. You will help shape investment philosophy, communicate market insights, and collaborate with the portfolio management group to drive asset growth while advising advisors and clients.

The role emphasizes developing model portfolio strategies, contributing to investment content, and engaging with advisors to deepen relationships and expand business opportunities

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree from a four-year accredited college or university required.
• CFA designation preferred.
• Series 65 required or willingness to obtain.
• Deep knowledge of financial markets, economics, portfolio construction, asset allocation, manager selection, and investment vehicles.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across audiences.
• Strong public speaking and executive presence, with the ability to present to advisors, clients, prospects, and industry audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex investment concepts into compelling narratives and build trusted partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Formulate, communicate, and advocate for the firm's investment views, portfolio positioning, and model portfolios.
• Collaborate with portfolio management to oversee model portfolios and related content.
• Participate in investment committee discussions with market insights and client feedback.
• Develop market commentary, thought leadership content, and educational materials for advisors and clients.
• Present investment strategies to advisors, clients, and large audiences; support business development and growth efforts.
