Job summary

Citi Wealth CIO is seeking a Senior Portfolio Specialist in New York to translate global and regional investment views into client-specific portfolio construction recommendations. You will deliver bespoke analytics and articulate actionable investment proposals for Citi Wealth clients across Latin America.

The role emphasizes advanced asset allocation, risk analytics, and quantitative modeling, with opportunities to develop scalable tools and collaborate with global teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Modern Portfolio Theory, asset allocation techniques, portfolio simulation, risk analytics, financial markets and investment strategies.
• Knowledge of Capital Markets and Managed Investment products including derivatives and alternative investments.
• Knowledge with financial modelling (including Monte Carlo simulation, optimization, and regression) and statistical analysis tools.
• Soft skills include a can-do attitude, sense of ownership and a team-player approach.
• Education: Master’s Degree / PhD Degree in Finance, Engineering or related fields.
• Excellent communication skills to all levels.
• Travel: 30%+.
• Series 7, 66 or 63 and 65.
• Must meet ALL US FINRA Registration requirements within 150 days of starting in the role.

Responsibilities

• Translate Citi Wealth CIO global and regional investment views into concrete portfolio construction recommendations and client-facing analytics.
• Develop innovative solutions, tools, and frameworks for the Citi Wealth CIO investment organization.
• Design customized asset allocation strategies for clients' portfolios using proprietary models and tools.
• Perform in-depth analysis on individual investment products, strategies, and portfolios across asset classes.
• Perform statistical modeling across asset classes, including building in-house applications to scale insights.
• Develop objective, actionable proposals for clients.
• Interact with clients to present portfolio analysis and proposals and educate others internally and externally.
• Contribute to scalable, self-service analytical tools across the region.
