Job summary

Nomura in New York, NY is seeking a Portfolio Strategist to join the Global Multi Asset team within NAM International. You will deliver portfolio construction insights and conduct quantitative reviews for wealth managers, partnering with US Wealth wholesalers.

The role requires strong analytical skills, 5+ years in portfolio management or related fields, and proficiency with Excel, Morningstar Direct, and PowerPoint. CFA or advanced degree and Series 7/63 are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience within Portfolio Management or related client-facing investment roles.
• CFA or advanced degree in Finance/Business and Series 7 & 63 are preferred.
• Excellent public speaking skills to present complex portfolio insights clearly.

Responsibilities

• Partner with wholesalers to conduct portfolio reviews for top advisory teams.
• Incorporate macro-economic analysis and asset-class insights into bespoke reports and presentations.
• Support a variety of projects including investment thought leadership, market commentaries, and investor conferences.
