Job summary

Mapletree seeks an Asset Management professional to support the US Student Housing portfolio in Dallas. You will help develop strategies, create reporting models, and analyze financial performance to optimize NOI and asset value.

The role requires collaboration with asset and property managers to improve resident experience and ensure compliance. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in real estate/finance, strong Excel/PowerPoint, and familiarity with property management systems.

Qualifications

Degree in Real Estate, Building, Business, Finance, Engineering or equivalent with experience in financial modeling/analysis.
3+ years of relevant real estate or finance experience.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Accounting knowledge is a plus.
Operationally hands-on with sound financial grounding.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies.

Responsibilities

Assist in positioning assets and enhancing cash flow and asset value; create the reporting model for the US Student Housing portfolio.
Prepare and manage reports covering financial performance, leasing status, and rental collection.
Collaborate with Asset Managers and Property Managers to optimize resident experience and ensure regulatory compliance; coordinate with government authorities, brokers, vendors, etc.
Prepare leasing memos, approval papers, variance analysis, and monitor budgets for the portfolio and fund.
Assist portfolio team in preparing portfolio level analyses and finance projects.
Manage market intelligence and compile global market/industry information to keep products competitive.
Handle ad hoc duties as required.
