Job summary

Mapletree in Dallas seeks an experienced asset management professional to support the Student Housing portfolio. You will help create strategies to optimize resident experience, NOI, and asset value while building robust reporting models for the US portfolio.

You will coordinate with Asset Managers, Property Managers, and external parties, handling budgets, leasing analyses, and market intelligence to keep assets competitive and compliant. 4 days/week in office is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant real estate or finance experience.
• Advanced Excel skills are required.
• Accounting knowledge is a plus.
• Operationally hands-on with sound financial grounding.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Student Housing and/or Multifamily assets is a plus.
• Must be able to be in office 4 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the overall positioning of assets and enhancement of cash flow and asset value; create the reporting model for the US Student Housing portfolio.
• Prepare and manage reports covering financial performance, leasing status, and rental collection.
• Collaborate with Asset Managers and Property Managers to optimize resident experience and ensure compliance and coordination with external parties.
• Prepare leasing memos and approval papers, variance analysis, and monitor budgets for the portfolio and fund.
• Assist the portfolio team in preparing portfolio-level analyses and finance projects.
• Manage market intelligence and compile global market/industry information to ensure competitiveness of Mapletree’s offerings.
• Perform ad hoc duties as required.
