Job summary

Blue Cross NC seeks a Senior Portfolio Analyst to analyze, manage, and optimize portfolios of strategic initiatives. You will ensure data integrity, deliver accurate reporting, and provide decision‑ready insights across intake, pipeline, and delivery to strengthen governance and investment decisions.

You will lead process improvements, contribute to tool mastery, and mentor others while supporting leadership with executive status updates and risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required; 5+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor portfolio performance metrics and indicators, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities that may require leadership attention or corrective action.
• Translate portfolio data into clear observations and implications, highlighting where attention or action may be needed.
• Analyze project financials and identify emerging budget, funding, and delivery risks to support proactive portfolio decision‑making.
• Monitor projects to ensure realized business value and to proactively identify and manage portfolio‑level risks, issues, and dependencies.
