Job summary

CJ Schwan’s is seeking a Senior Portfolio Analyst to drive visibility and governance across the new product innovation pipeline. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams and leadership to turn portfolio data into actionable insights.

In this role you’ll own portfolio systems, develop KPI dashboards, and support planning across R&D, Marketing, Finance, and Operations, helping bring products to market faster and more effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience in portfolio management or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to translate data into insights.
• Experience managing portfolio management or reporting systems with Excel, Power BI, Access.
• Knowledge of Stage-Gate, New Product Development, or similar governance.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead management and reporting of the new product portfolio, providing insights and recommendations.
• Own portfolio systems and data, ensuring accurate project tracking and reporting.
• Develop KPI dashboards, executive reports, and ad hoc analyses.
• Partner with R&D, Marketing, Finance, and Operations for updates and planning.
• Drive adoption and improvement of Stage-Gate processes through training and docs.
• Identify opportunities to improve portfolio management and reporting.
