Job summary

CJ Schwan’s seeks a Senior Portfolio Analyst to drive visibility, governance, and performance across our new product innovation pipeline. You will partner with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to transform portfolio data into actionable insights, strengthen our Stage-Gate process, and help bring great products to market faster and more effectively.

The base salary range is $83,000 to $139,000 annually, with a 10% incentive bonus, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7+ years in portfolio or project analytics.
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into insights.
Experience with portfolio systems and reporting tools such as Planview and MS Office.
Proficient in Excel, Power BI, Access, and MS Office applications.
Knowledge of Stage-Gate or New Product Development governance.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead management and reporting of the new product portfolio, providing insights, metrics, and recommendations that support strategic business decisions.
Own portfolio systems and data, including Planview and portfolio databases, ensuring accurate project tracking, reporting, and process compliance.
Develop KPI dashboards, executive reports, and ad hoc analyses that measure portfolio performance across brands, channels, and business units.
Partner with stakeholders across R&D, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to provide portfolio updates and support business planning activities.
Drive adoption and continuous improvement of the New Product Development and Stage-Gate processes through training, documentation, and best practices.
Identify opportunities to improve portfolio management capabilities, reporting effectiveness, and innovation processes through internal and external benchmarking.
