Job summary

Schumacher & Co. seeks an analytical Portfolio Development Manager to shape the company’s product portfolio and drive data-informed decisions.

You will partner with Design, Product Development, Sales, and Operations to move collections from concept to launch in a fast-paced, design-led environment. In this role, you’ll manage calendars, analyze SKU performance, and ensure accurate product data across ERP and PIM systems.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in merchandising, product operations, or related field.
• Experience with ERP, PIM, PLM or similar systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical, project-management, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze SKU productivity to inform assortment decisions and ROI.
• Manage product development calendars and launch timelines.
• Lead cross-functional check-ins and track deliverables.
• Coordinate new product and SKU creation in ERP and PIM.
• Maintain accurate product data and classifications.
• Manage ERP updates across product lifecycle.
• Maintain trackers for SKU creation, updates, and launches.
• Resolve data discrepancies with cross-functional teams.
• Support data-clean-up and improved product setup.
• Assist annual collection planning and SKU targets.
• Balance creative vision with commercial potential in design partnership.
