Job summary

Axis Portable Air is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to install, service, and repair portable HVAC equipment for customer sites and events. You will lead maintenance tasks, diagnose issues, and ensure equipment is rent-ready while mentoring junior technicians and maintaining detailed job notes with the team.

The role requires 3+ years in HVAC and EPA Type 2 or Universal certification, with strong driving skills and the ability to work in varied environments, indoors and outdoors, including

Qualifications

• 3+ years in HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair (portable/commercial preferred).
• EPA certification required (Type 2 or Universal).
• Proficient with electrical meters, vacuum pumps, refrigerant equipment, combustion analyzers, and torches.

Responsibilities

• Lead setup, maintenance, and repair of portable HVAC equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting to ensure rent-ready condition.
• Receive equipment at warehouse, operate forklift, and maintain accurate inventory.
