Job summary

T-Mobile’s Policy Strategy & Analytics team seeks a strategic Corporate Counsel to shape positions on wireless and emerging technology policy before federal and state policymakers. The role focuses on policy analysis, long-term positioning, and creating winning campaigns.

You’ll lead advocacy on wireless policy issues, develop forward-looking positions, and coordinate with law firms and partners to drive successful campaigns in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 5–15 years of legal and public policy experience with substantial experience in federal telecommunications policy.
  • Aptitude for navigating complex political dynamics and strong political acumen.
  • Proficiency explaining complex or technical issues to generalist audiences.
  • Familiarity with emerging wireless services like 5G-Advanced, Direct-to-Device, and 6G.
  • Familiarity with emerging issues in AI and digital platform regulation as they relate to communications networks.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, writing, research, and presentation skills.
  • Established record of cultivating cross-sector partnerships and building coalitions.
  • Ability to participate in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
  • At least 18 years of age; legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategy leader on wireless policy issues and emerging services.
  • Develop proactive and forward-looking advocacy positions based on company priorities.
  • Maintain insight into policymakers, industry participants, and stakeholders to anticipate risks and opportunities.
  • Combine strategy with practicality to maximize advocacy successes.
  • Coordinate law firms, consultants, and allies to execute policy campaigns.
  • Develop and lead strategic alliances to drive advocacy initiatives.
