Job summary

The Launch Partnership, LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a hands-on production professional to work directly with our host and content team. This role is local to our studio and requires a passion for AI, tech, and the startup scene.

You will own end-to-end production for shows like TWiST and TWiAI, from pre-production research to recording and distribution, while ensuring quality and timely releases. You will help develop new shows and expand our social media strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop a content and distribution strategy with Editorial Director Lon Harris and CEO/Host Jason Calacanis.
• Own end-to-end production on "TWiST" and "TWiAI" episodes from pre-production to distribution, ensuring quality and on-time release.
• Help develop new shows to expand the TWiST/This Week in AI network.

Job description

This is a hands-on production role working directly with our host and content team. Ideal candidates will be local to our studio in Austin, TX.

You are:

Creative and looking to contribute not just hard work but inspired ideas and fresh insights.

Obsessed with AI, tech, and the startup scene. (Are you using AI tools daily? Have you vibecoded an app or collaborated with an agent? We want to hear about your experiences.)

Eager to dive in and help us make these shows on every level, from booking and research to supervising the edit.

Very familiar with the process of recording and producing podcasts or professional long-form audio/video content

Extremely organized! We move fast, make a LOT of content, and the expectations are high. We’re looking for people who can keep up.

What you’ll do:

Develop a content and distribution strategy along with Editorial Director Lon Harris and CEO/Host Jason Calacanis. We’re not just looking for technical skill but original thinking and a sharp understanding of the podcast landscape.

Own end-to-end production on “TWiST” and “TWiAI” episodes, from pre-production research, pre-interviews and guest prep, through recording, and into copy writing and distribution. You’re responsible for making sure episodes are up to our quality standard and released on time.

Help us develop new shows to expand the “TWiST” and “This Week in AI” network.
