Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior engineer to frame analyses and lead technical teams in support of government needs across communications, PNT, and related mission areas. You will coordinate diverse experts, develop technically precise products, and present clear recommendations to customers.

The role requires experience supporting government customers, a current TS/SCI-level clearance, and willingness to travel domestically.

Qualifications

• BS degree in aerospace, astronautical, mechanical engineering, physics, mathematics, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive professional or academic experience.
• Experience providing direct support to government customers.
• Experience leading technical teams delivering analyses or development efforts.
• Willingness to travel domestically (10-20%).
• Current security clearance and polygraph TS/SBI/SCI; US citizenship required.
• Expertise in IC or DoW business practices or space mission portfolios.
• Proven ability to prioritize, scope, plan, and execute complex technical efforts.

Responsibilities

• Framing analyses and tasking to respond to government needs related to communications, PNT, and signal processing as well as other mission areas as needs dictate.
• Coordinating support for complex technical tasks, managing resources to efficiently staff and execute projects.
• Developing and presenting timely and technically accurate products that clearly communicate analysis results and recommendations to the customer.
• Collaborating with outside organizations to ensure accurate information and alignment with other analysis teams.
• Influencing key government stakeholders to adopt recommendations based on data.
• Working with other Aerospace, government, and contractor engineering teams across multiple locations and time zones.
