Job summary

PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. seeks an experienced Project Manager III to advance the PMO’s governance and drive complex software and business initiatives.

Based in multiple in-office locations, you will partner with product, engineering, and operations teams to clarify scope, success criteria, and readiness needs. You will maintain portfolio health reporting, risk management, and cadence, while coaching teams on PMO standards and discipline.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience in software, technology, business operations, or PMO environments.
• Certifications are often desired; bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Experience supporting portfolio reporting, governance, or cross-functional launches.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional software and business initiatives aligned to PMO standards.
• Partner with product, engineering, operations, and stakeholders to clarify scope and success criteria.
• Support portfolio-level visibility with project health, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and capacity reporting.
• Drive consistent use of PMO tools, templates, intake processes, project plans, status reporting, and milestone tracking.
• Translate project activity into executive-ready updates highlighting decisions, risks, and next steps.
