Job summary

DVJ Consulting Engineers is seeking a qualified PMO Support Specialist to provide technical and administrative support to the PMO on bond-funded construction projects. You will track RFIs and submittals, review COs/FOs, coordinate with PMO and District FPD, and maintain change order logs and records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in a similar role in construction.
• BS/BA Degree in construction, engineering, or architecture; four years of additional qualifying experience may substitute for the education requirement.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
• Experience using BlueBeam and Adobe software for document reviews/mark-ups.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Good communication skills verbal and writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative support for the PMO.
• Track and follow up with RFIs and submittals during design, pre-bid, and construction phases.
• Perform internal reviews of Change Orders (CO), Field Orders (FO) and other contractual documents.
• Coordinate with PMO staff and District FPD on CO processing for active projects.
• Maintain Change Order Logs and other tracking documents for PMO and District FPD use.
• Assist in coordination meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
• Maintain electronic files and records for reviews and closeouts.
