Job summary

Thermo Systems is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator in Montgomery, AL to provide project controls, coordination, and admin support to executives, managers, and teams within a Stage-Gate delivery model. You will help maintain documentation, tracking, and Gate readiness across multiple projects while upholding PMO standards.

The role requires 5+ years in project coordination, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Project, Smartsheet, and other tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project coordination or controls roles.
• Experience supporting project leadership with schedule, cost, and reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in business/engineering or related field.
• Proficient in PMO processes and Stage-Gate methodologies.
• Experience with scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera, Smartsheet).

Responsibilities

• Lead Stage-Gate artifact coordination, checklists, approvals, and documentation.
• Maintain gate readiness trackers, identify gaps, and elevate delays.
• Ensure files are audit-ready with version control and configuration mgmt.
• Uphold PMO standards for artifact quality and timing.
• Lead internal/customer coordination routines with agendas and minutes.
• Track actions, deliverables, dependencies, and owners through closure.
• Support cost tracking, PO logs, and budget/actuals visibility with PMO.
• Identify risks and provide concise summaries for reviews.
