Sumitomo Pharma America (SMPA) is seeking a Senior Manager, Program Management Operations to implement governance, enable team readiness, and provide portfolio visibility for successful program execution.

The role partners with R&D program leads, global development teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive planning, forecasting, financial enablement, and risk management across development programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; minimum 6 years in biotech/pharma.
• Experience with portfolio governance and PMO processes.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Responsabilités

• Lead operational planning and execution readiness across programs with stakeholders.
• Shape agendas and materials for governance forums and ensure action follow-through.
• Own portfolio reporting with dashboards, metrics, and milestone tracking for leadership.
• Coordinate planning, forecasting, budget, and variance inputs with Finance and PM Leads.
• Manage timelines, dependencies, and risk mitigation for program plans.
• Identify, assess, track, and elevate risks, issues, and dependencies across the portfolio.
• Design PMO onboarding materials and drive tool adoption for consistency.
• Drive process improvements in PMO governance, reporting, and tools.
• Lead cross-functional PMO initiatives from concept to implementation.
