Job summary

Pickett, an ESP Associates company, is seeking a Manager, PMO to lead project managers and controllers in building standardized PMO processes and tools for complex engineering programs serving electric utilities. You will oversee large portfolios, ensure financial performance, and strengthen client partnerships while mentoring teams.

You will drive PMO templates, reporting tools, training, and controls, aligning project execution with company goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline (preferred).
• 15+ years of experience managing engineering or infrastructure projects.
• PE registration or PMP certification (required).
• Experience with utility or engineering consulting firms strongly preferred.
• Experience in transmission line engineering and project management (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of project managers and project controllers to build PMO processes, standards and tools.
• Provide strategic leadership for delivery of complex engineering programs for electric utilities.
• Track and report project performance across portfolios (scope, schedule, budget, quality).
• Develop metrics and systems to improve how projects are run.
• Mentor and develop project managers while shaping the PMO framework.
