American College of Chest Physicians is seeking a Senior Manager, PMO to lead enterprise projects and manage the PMO portfolio. You will guide staff, define scope with stakeholders, and ensure the delivery of high-visibility initiatives on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, business, health sciences, or related field.
• Five years working in a project management role.
• Experience delivering work with external accountability (grants, contracts).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Wrike, Jira, Smartsheet, and Gantt charts.
• Familiarity with software and data analytics and collaboration with tech.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-motivated with alignment to business goals.
• PMI/ PMP certification or equivalent (preferred).
• Direct supervisory experience and nonprofit/healthcare setting exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, or coordinate PMO staff.
• Define project scope with stakeholders.
• Create detailed project work plans.
• Develop schedules allocating resources.
• Set objectives and success measures.
• Execute projects per plan and monitor progress.
• Maintain PMO standards, templates, and governance.
• Provide portfolio visibility with health updates and risks.
• Manage communications with internal and external partners.
• Plan and balance team capacity; coach direct reports.
