Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Houston is seeking an experienced Project Manager leader to oversee program delivery and guide a team of Project Managers.

The role focuses on delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and meeting quality standards, while promoting consistent project management practices across a Network Control PMO environment. You will engage with customers, coordinate resources, monitor portfolios and budgets, and drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and speed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years management experience.
• Experience in managing project portfolio.
• Thorough understanding of project management best practices, with continuous improvement as a core value.
• Experience in customer relationship management.
• Opportunity to work in a Network Control PMO.
• Renewable energy related work experiences preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project delivery and manage a team of Project Managers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with required quality.
• Own and promote project management processes and tools across projects.
• Coordinate project communication, customer engagement, resource planning, portfolio oversight, and budget tracking.
• Support proposals and presentations; contribute to customer experience initiatives.
• Collaborate with multiple functions to address project issues and maintain plans.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
