Job summary

Nova Space Solutions, LLC seeks a PMO Supervisor to lead project management, controls, and configuration coordination within the Engineering Services Department. You will coach teams, build processes, and drive cost- and schedule-focused performance across complex EPC initiatives for government missions. The role requires 10–15 years in EPC project leadership, strong communication, and experience supervising personnel.

U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain NASA credentials are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or business management from ABET-accredited program.
• 10–15 years of EPC project management experience.
• 5–10 years of personnel leadership experience.
• U.S. citizenship for NASA badge access.
• Must provide birth certificate/passport/INS documents at hire.
• Proficient English communication (written and spoken).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Office (85%) / field (15%) work with safety training.
• PM leadership and team-based collaboration demonstrated.
• Familiarity with MS Office; PM terminology and standards preferred.
• PMP certification and PMBOK familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage PMO staff, including project managers, controls, and coordinators.
• Oversee staffing decisions: budgets, workload, candidate evaluations, interviews, and hiring actions.
• Ensure onboarding, site access, software perms, and process training for new staff.
• Assess team skillsets and align tasks to capabilities and schedules.
• Provide oversight and peer reviews for Task Orders and proposals.
• Monitor cost and schedule performance; deliver data-driven reports to customers.
• Develop best practices for project management and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate team performance and set departmental goals.
• Approve time submissions and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with engineering on design reviews and finalization.
• Ensure subcontractor reporting and project communication is thorough.
• Facilitate project meetings and stakeholder communications as needed.
• Close projects with technical and financial closure, sharing lessons learned.
