The role coordinates a project team from inception through completion, drives corporate planning and project management, supports the PMO, mentors staff and ensures master schedules, cost controls and risk management are effectively

Qualifications

• BS/BA in related discipline; 5–8 years of experience in related field.
• MS/MA may be preferred; 3–5 years of related field experience in some areas.
• Certification may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior representative for Project Management Center of Excellence.
• Develop systems and procedures for automated planning, reporting, risk management and budget tracking.
• Provide regular status information to project stakeholders and interface with Upper Management.
• Review plans and schedules for master schedule compliance and resolve conflicts.
• Lead and participate in daily, weekly or monthly meetings to track project status.
• Review business cases to ensure accurate costs and internal labor and secure approvals.
• Support internal department training periodically.
• Mentor and develop people and processes within the PMO.
