Job summary

Core & Main is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams from inception to completion. You will lead the Project Management Center of Excellence, developing new planning systems, reporting, and risk management processes while interfacing with upper management.

The role requires strong program governance, scheduling discipline, and the ability to mentor staff. You will participate in regular meetings, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with the master

Qualifications

• Requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Certification is required in some areas.
• MS/MA is preferred in some cases with 3–5 years of related experience.
• 5–8 years of related field experience (or 3–5 years with MS/MA).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a project team from inception through completion.
• Develop and implement automated planning systems, reporting, risk management and budget tracking.
• Provide regular status information to project stakeholders and interface with upper management.
• Review plans and schedules for master schedule compliance and resolve conflicts.
• Mentor and develop people and processes within the project management office.
