Job summary

ExlService Holdings, Inc. is seeking an accomplished Implementation Project Management Office (PMO) Lead for its Life & Annuity Platforms. You will govern a portfolio of client implementations and transformations, ensuring delivery excellence, financial performance, and scalable operations.

You will partner with Product, Technology, Operations, and Sales to drive outcomes, lead governance forums, and build a PMO Center of Excellence. Travel up to 20% supported by a dynamic, matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in project/program management with leadership experience.
• 10+ years leading large-scale software implementation or platform modernization.
• Experience in Life Insurance, Annuity, TPA operations and policy administration systems.
• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, and scaled delivery models.
• Strong financial, commercial, resource, and delivery governance skills.
• Ability to manage multi-project health, risks, dependencies, metrics, and actions.
• Executive dashboards, KPIs, reporting tools, and project health metrics.
• Experience in global, matrixed delivery with vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to apply AI/tools automation to improve PMO effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Lead the TPA Implementation PMO with governance models, standards, and delivery methodologies.
• Drive portfolio governance, project health reviews, risk management, and executive reporting.
• Oversee large-scale Life & Annuity platform programs, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, and financials.
• Guide Program/Project Managers and Scrum Masters to drive accountability and execution discipline.
• Own portfolio budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and SOW/contract governance.
• Engage stakeholders across clients, leadership, Product, Tech, Delivery, and Operations.
• Establish a PMO Center of Excellence for tooling, reporting, and delivery practices.
• Build and mentor a high-performing PMO team with automation and AI-enabled practices.
• Establish an escalation framework and root-cause resolution across critical issues.
