Job summary

EXL is seeking an Implementation & Transformation Leader for Life & Annuity, Insurance Platforms. Lead large-scale programs from planning through deployment, with a focus on data migration, AI-enabled transformation, and governance.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, and AI teams to embed automation, analytics, GenAI, and Agentic AI into programs, while guiding senior client stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 20+ years in enterprise architecture, engineering, or solution leadership.
• Experience partnering with CIO, CTO, CDO, and business executives.
• Proven experience in legacy policy admin system and AI-enabled enterprise solutions.
• Strong understanding of legacy systems, cloud migrations, integration frameworks, data fabric/mesh, and AI orchestration.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, Agentic AI, intelligent automation, and AI governance frameworks.
• Background in managing global delivery teams and distributed engineering organizations.
• Experience establishing AI engineering practices, reusable frameworks, and innovation labs.
• Deep understanding of TPA ecosystem and end-to-end operations across policy administration, billing, claims, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale LifePRO, TPA, digital platform, and AI-enabled transformation programs from planning through deployment.
• Provide technical leadership across architecture, engineering, integrations, data migration, testing, release, and deployment.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and AI teams to embed automation, analytics, GenAI, and Agentic AI into programs.
• Serve as senior delivery leader for strategic client programs, managing stakeholder relationships and governance.
• Build and lead high-performing teams across implementation, engineering, data, QA, and program management.
• Define and own a consolidated solution and execution strategy across multiple applications in LifePRO/TPA ecosystem.
• Lead root-cause analysis and remediation to reduce production issues and client escalations.
• Drive innovation and operational excellence through modern engineering practices, reusable frameworks, and delivery accelerators.
