Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp in the United States seeks a seasoned Business Analyst within the PMO to enhance program reporting and monitor initiative progress. You’ll collaborate with Program Managers, Engineering, Construction and Reliability teams to measure success and drive accountability.

The role emphasizes data presentation, risk assessment, and continuous improvement, with remote and on-site considerations across FE service territories. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of related work experience; degree preferred or 10 years experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in financial forecasting, cost flow oversight, and portfolio management.
• Proven program management experience for measuring success.
• Strong project management, risk identification, and communication skills.
• Advanced MS Office and portfolio management tools proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop weekly workstream and monthly leadership reports.
• Monitor progress against program plans and present data to leadership.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction and reliability groups to improve reporting.
• Anticipate and meet internal/external customer needs.
• Develop solutions for complex assignments and add value within scope.
• Promote urgency to meet goals and deadlines.
• Build effective relationships with FE staff and vendors.
• Support continuous improvement across the business unit and FirstEnergy.
