Job summary

AeroVironment seeks a senior Product Marketing Owner to own the Loitering Munitions portfolio, guiding positioning, messaging, and launch execution with direct executive visibility. You will embed with the business unit, drive evidence-based claims, and coordinate across product, BD, and MarCom to shape the customer narrative.

The role requires deep defense-market acumen, DoD processes, and the ability to deliver exports-friendly content while aligning with AV’s corporate strategy.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of civilian work experience.
• 8+ years in product marketing across enterprise software or hardware-hardware tech.
• Demonstrated ownership of a product line or portfolio at $100M+ revenue.
• Fluency in DoD acquisition dynamics and lifecycle concepts.

Responsibilities

• Build deep relationships with BU leadership, program managers, capture leads, and engineering.
• Own positioning and messaging architecture for LMS/Strike portfolio with evidence-based claims.
• Lead product launch plans, cross-functional execution, and enablement assets.
• Develop battlecards, proof libraries, and sales messaging for campaigns.
• Support international growth with export-aware positioning within ITAR boundaries.
• Own competitive intelligence and feedback loops to inform strategy.
