MasTec Utility Services in the United States seeks a Senior Project Manager to initiate, plan, execute, and control complex construction projects within scope, budget, and schedule. You will coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

This role requires 8+ years in transmission, substation, or distribution project management, PMP/CCM/PE or equivalent certification, and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience in transmission, substation, or distribution
• Extensive experience managing duct banks, vaults, and medium voltage installs
• PMP, CCM, PE or equivalent certifications required
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field; Master’s preferred
• Experience leading PMO initiatives and mentoring junior staff

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from proposal to closeout with KPI-driven oversight
• Manage day-to-day construction activities, budgeting, scheduling, and progress tracking
• Coordinate subcontractors, procurement, and contract changes
• Lead weekly meetings and provide updates to senior management
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on projects
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and cash flow projections
