Job summary
WSP is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Structural Engineer to provide technical leadership on underground structural engineering projects in New York City. Based in our NYC office, you will lead structural teams across tunnels, retaining walls, bridges, and related structures, focusing on design, rehabilitation, and construction-support.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience designing tunnels, retaining walls, bridges and related structures.
- Experience in design and analysis of reinforced concrete and structural steel.
- Proven success in task or project management, staff development and leadership, deliverable packages, technical innovation, quality management, inter-disciplinary coordination, structural inspections, and construction support.
Responsibilities
- Manage teams of structural engineers and other disciplines.
- Advance and implement state-of-the-art structural engineering practices and tools.
- Drive development of innovative technical concepts to reduce construction cost, risk, and project duration.
- Exercise ethical decision-making regarding funds, resources, and conduct in line with policies.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
