Job summary

WSP is seeking a senior structural/civil engineer for multi-site due diligence, design, and construction leadership in New York. You will guide PMs and managers, ensure design quality, safety, and regulatory compliance, and mentor staff across phases from concept to operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in structural or civil engineering.
• Engineering licensure preferred or required.
• Experience with structural and civil design and project management.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight by collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from sites, surveys, plans, GIS data, and related matrices for project development and construction.
• Apply high-level structural and civil techniques to identify improvements across multiple project phases, including design, procurement, construction, and operation.
• Perform professional structural engineering work and investigations to determine conformance with rules, standards, and permits.
• Develop construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates; coordinate with owners, other disciplines, sub-consultants, and clients.
• Lead large-scale structural projects, manage budgets, track hours and expenses, and supervise subcontractors and team members.
• Assist with review of permit applications, design plans and specifications to ensure compliance with regulations and sound engineering practice.
