Amtrak seeks a Principal Project Manager – Mechanical & Fire Life Safety to lead engineering, construction, and commissioning of tunnel ventilation and FLS facilities for the Hudson Tunnel Project. You will coordinate across engineering, construction, and commissioning teams, manage interfaces with EOR and contractors, and report to Directors and stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, 7+ years of relevant experience (9+ preferred), and credentials

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or closely related field (equiv. considered).
• Proven track record in complex infrastructure programs.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate across multiple project teams, vendors and assets for on-schedule, on-budget execution.
• Support contractor bid docs for tunnel ventilation and FLS work.
• Plan and manage testing and commissioning of FLS systems.
• Interface HTP infrastructure with Amtrak's FLS supervisory systems.
• Drive adherence to Amtrak PM standards and governance.
• Provide performance analytics and regular program reporting.
