Job summary

Amtrak seeks a Project Director – Systems Integration to lead the integration of Hudson Tunnel Project subsystems into the Northeast Corridor and Penn Station infrastructure. You will plan and direct Rail Activation, Safety Certification, and commissioning activities, leveraging advanced systems engineering and project management to meet objectives and report to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training, education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 13+ years of relevant experience preferred
• 11 years of prior relevant experience required

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements the HTP Rail Activation plan.
• Works with EOR and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Monitors cost and schedule; communicates status to leadership.
• Ensures safety certification and regulatory compliance for new infrastructure.
