Job summary

PM Design, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for Architecture and Engineering Commercial & Retail to lead complex nationwide construction programs.

You will coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to meet scope, budget, and timeline while guiding multi-disciplinary teams. The role emphasizes quality assurance, risk management, and compliance with industry standards across all project phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited program.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience as an architect; 15 years preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Demonstrated leadership and client interaction experience.
• Commitment to quality across all phases of project development.
• Experience with retail and commercial architectural projects - grocery stores, QSR, warehouse, etc.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects at various stages, establishing priorities and ensuring compliance with design standards and building regulations.
• Oversee contract documents, including drawings and specifications.
• Administer contracts, negotiate fees, monitor budgets and billings, and prepare change orders and additional service requests.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of technical documents throughout project phases.
• Resolve complex technical and design issues, providing guidance and training to team members.
• Supervise and mentor staff.
