Job summary

Liberty University seeks an Assistant Director of Project Management to oversee the Project Management and Prepress Technician teams, driving on-time, high-quality production for print and mailing campaigns.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years in publishing/printing with strong leadership, scheduling, and vendor coordination. Proficiency with Adobe WorkFront, Tharstern, Infigo, and Adobe Creative Suite is expected. This is an onsite position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3–5 years of experience in a publishing or printing environment.
• Experience leading project management and prepress teams or similar multidisciplinary groups.
• Strong understanding of print production processes, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
• Ability to interpret and apply USPS postal regulations and maintain compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and master production schedules for all projects under direction.
• Communicate with PM, Prepress and Production teams to meet critical dates.
• Lead staff and allocate resources to address priorities and scheduling changes.
• Oversee supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement in processes and systems.
• Maintain knowledge of systems like Adobe WorkFront, Tharstern, Infigo, and related tools.
