Job summary

Twitch is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Platform Core Engineering (PCE) in Irvine. You will own a platform-area strategy, partnering with engineering leaders to drive adoption and measurable impact for developers across teams.

You’ll work hands-on with AI development tools, define a long-term technical vision, and shepherd end-to-end launches with migration paths and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience with a strong technical foundation.
• Hands-on fluency with modern AI development tools.
• Understanding of agents, MCPs, context, and tooling for developer products.
• Track record building developer-facing or platform products focusing on adoption and trust.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clear articulation of problems and tradeoffs.
• Ability to operate independently and navigate ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and roadmap for a Platform Core Engineering area balancing near-term needs with a 1–2 year vision.
• Treat developers as customers and prioritize capabilities to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with Senior Engineering Managers and Principal Engineers to define needs and build a cohesive platform ecosystem.
• Define and drive platform metrics that matter.
• Drive alignment across teams, resolve priorities, and communicate tradeoffs.
• Own launches end-to-end including migrations, docs, and adoption.
