Job summary

Twitch is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Platform Core Engineering to own a PCE platform area, balancing near‑term developer needs with a 1–2 year technical vision. You will work with engineers to define requirements, drive adoption, and measure platform success.

This is a deeply technical role, hands‑on with AI tools, and you will need credibility with a room full of engineers. You can be based in multiple offices including New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, Irvine.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience with a strong technical foundation.
• Hands-on fluency with modern AI development tools and a habit of building with them.
• Understanding of how AI tools fit together (agents, MCPs, context) for developer products.
• Track record building developer-facing or platform products with strong adoption.
• Strong analytical and written/verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to operate independently and navigate ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and roadmap for a PCE platform area balancing near-term needs with a 1–2 year vision.
• Treat developers as customers, earning their trust and prioritizing capabilities that boost productivity.
• Collaborate with Senior Engineering Managers and Principal Engineers to define needs and build a cohesive platform ecosystem.
• Define and drive platform metrics that matter.
• Drive alignment across dependent teams and communicate technical tradeoffs.
• Own end-to-end launches including migration paths and documentation to ensure adoption.
• Partner with tooling customers across engineering, ML infrastructure, MLOps, and data science.
• Champion hands-on use of modern AI development tools and relevant platform capabilities.
