Job summary

Twitch is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the Platform Core Engineering (PCE) team in Irvine. You will own a platform area, collaborating with engineers to build foundational systems, frameworks, and tooling used by Twitch's developers daily.

You will work hands-on with modern AI development tools, shaping technology with credibility in a room full of engineers and driving adoption across the developer community.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience with a strong technical foundation.
• Hands‑on fluency with modern AI development tools.
• Understanding how AI tools fit together (agents, MCPs, context) and why they matter for developer products.
• Track record building developer-facing or platform products where developer trust drives adoption.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and roadmap for a PCE platform area, balancing near‑term needs with a 1–2 year technical vision.
• Treat developers as customers: understand workflows, earn trust, and prioritize capabilities that improve speed and effectiveness.
• Define technical and organizational needs with Sr. Engineering Managers and Principal Engineers to build a cohesive platform ecosystem.
• Define and drive platform metrics that matter.
• Drive alignment across dependent teams and communicate tradeoffs.
• Own launches end‑to‑end, including migration paths, documentation, and adoption.
• Partner with tooling customers across engineering, ML infra, MLOps, and data science to serve every developer persona.
• Champion hands‑on use of modern AI development tools and context tooling.
