We seek a Senior Project Manager to lead delivery of high-profile M&P construction initiatives in MD/VA/DC, with autonomy across execution, financials, and client relations. Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of experience in project management for mechanical and/or plumbing systems in commercial or industrial construction.
• Experience leading large or complex MEP projects with $30M+ scope as lead PM.
• Field or trade background is a significant advantage; GC experience valued with MEP ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead large or complex projects from buyout through closeout with accountability for schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Direct PMs/APMs/PEs on a portfolio of projects, guiding their work and developing capabilities.
• Serve as the senior decision-maker for the field team, PM team, and client.
• Partner with field leadership to drive installation sequencing, manpower planning, and daily execution.
• Own project financial performance: budgets, forecasts, cost-to-complete, cash flow, and billing strategy.
• Lead cost-to-complete reviews and forecast accuracy to mitigate financial exposure.
• Develop and execute change order strategy to protect margins and document decisions.
• Oversee procurement strategy and vendor/subcontractor management for MEP scope.
• Lead BIM coordination and prefabrication planning; ensure field coordination ahead of installation.
• Maintain on-site leadership and active field presence; drive timely issue resolution.
• Manage client/GC relationships and proactively communicate project status and risks.
• Lead commissioning planning, turnover, and closeout deliverables.
• Mentor PMs, APMs, and PEs to grow the team and build leadership.
