We seek an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale mechanical and plumbing construction across MD, VA, and DC, from buyout through closeout, with full ownership of financial performance, field execution, and client relationships. Candidates should have a strong background in project management for mechanical and plumbing systems, a hands-on field orientation, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project management for mechanical and/or plumbing systems in commercial or industrial construction.
• Field or trade background is a significant advantage – plumber, pipefitter, HVAC mechanic, or similar hands-on experience.
• Prior GC experience is valued when paired with demonstrated MEP trade ownership and direct involvement in procurement and field execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead project buyout, scope packages, vendor selection, purchase orders and subcontract awards.
• Oversee submittals, RFIs, design changes, and change orders with clear ownership.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
• Coordinate BIM/coordination efforts to ensure clash-free MEP systems on site.
• Maintain regular on-site presence, oversee field teams, and drive project turnover and closeout.
