Job summary

Lilly is seeking an Associate Director – Project Management to lead large capital asset programs within Global Facilities Delivery. You will manage cross-functional teams from front-end planning to operational qualification, ensuring safety, cost, schedule, and quality excellence across global sites.

The role requires a BS in engineering, 10+ years in capital project delivery, and pharma manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an engineering field or a field related to project management.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in capital project delivery in industrial or manufacturing facilities.
• Experience on projects greater than $100M, including greenfield initiatives.
• Pharma manufacturing experience in facilities such as bulk API, sterile products, secondary packaging, or devices.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages teams to safely deliver large capital programs of $1BN USD or more.
• Uses a disciplined, structured project management approach to manage scope, risk, and schedule.
• Maintains effective communication with GFD leadership and project teams.
• Develops safety and environmental execution plans and ensures compliance from design through verification.
• Ensures program execution aligns with company policies, regulatory and quality requirements.
