Job summary

MCL Construction is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout in Omaha, NE. You will own budgets, schedules, and client relationships, coordinating with the Superintendent and project team to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in commercial construction, 3+ years as PM with a general contractor, and experience with high-value, technically complex projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial construction experience, including 3+ years as a Project Manager with a general contractor.
• Proven experience independently leading $10M–$50M+ commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Demonstrated ownership of project financials, schedules, teams, and client relationships.
• Experience leading healthcare, mission critical/data center, federal, or other technically complex commercial projects is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex commercial projects from preconstruction and buyout through closeout.
• Own the financial performance of projects, including budgets, forecasting, buyout, contracts, change management, and cost control.
• Build and manage project schedules while proactively identifying risks, delays, and issues.
• Partner with the Superintendent to lead the project team and keep field and project operations aligned.
• Lead OAC meetings and serve as a trusted partner to owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
• Drive value management, QA/QC, risk management, and project closeout throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers while building teams that deliver strong results.
