Job summary

W.E. Oil is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Irvine to lead large, complex commercial, mixed-use, and multifamily projects above $200M.

You will own project delivery from preconstruction through closeout and lead the team that gets it done. This is a leadership role where youll manage Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers, setting the standard for how the team runs its jobs.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in CM/Engineering/Architecture required.
• 8+ years of construction experience on large projects.
• Experience leading project teams (PMs, PEs, APs).
• Ability to read complex construction documents and reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of large, complex projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Own project financial performance including forecasting, budgeting, billing, cash flow.
• Administer prime/subcontracts, purchase orders, and change management.
• Identify and mitigate safety, quality, schedule, and cost risks; resolve claims.
• Mentor and develop project managers, APMs, and engineers.
• Build long-term relationships with owners, designers, consultants, and subs.
• Support pursuits, client interviews, and presentations to win work.
• Partner with field leadership to maintain safety and quality.
• Use VDC/BIM to support constructability and coordination.
• Oversee turnover, commissioning, and closeout.
• Share lessons learned and support training and development.
