VCC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial construction projects from bid through completion.

Our PMs ensure all contract requirements and paperwork are in order and provide the knowledge, skills and experience working with subcontractors to ensure projects run smoothly.

Located near Irvine, CA, you will drive excellence, manage bids, and coordinate with clients and owners while upholding VCC's debt-free, stable operating philosophy.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 3+ years of project management experience with commercial construction projects.
• Motivated with initiative and a drive for excellence.
• Strong organizational, time-management, verbal and written communication skills.
• Located near Irvine, CA.

Responsabilidades

• Reviews pricing, bids and confirms accuracy of material, equipment, and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and validity.
• Prepares bids for distribution to market including drawings, specifications, test reports, and other exhibits as required.
• Qualify subcontractors prior to award.
• Reviews bids from subcontractors for conformity to contract requirements and recommends acceptable bids.
• Negotiates contract scope and value with bidder.
• Recommends awards and administers subcontracts.
• Processes subcontractor change orders.
• Requests or approves amendments to or extensions of contracts.
• Advises scheduling of contractual rights and obligations.
• Compiles data for preparing estimates.
• Reviews all correspondence concerning subcontractors and responds as necessary.
• Establishes and maintains contact with subcontractors to ensure smooth contract awarding process.
• Acts as liaison between company and subcontractors, clients and owners.
• Acts as liaison with accounting on subcontractor payments.
• Conducts/Leads project meetings.
• Plays an active role with project scheduling.
• Other duties as assigned.
